Rockband Addict

I never realized how addicting a video game can be, and yes I’m talking about Rockband. Before I came to college I had played the occasional Guitar Hero but nothing like Rockband. Then for graduation my brother gave me his Guitar Hero and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I had mastered medium and thought I was amazing haha. Little did I know that when I went to college a new game would take my love. My roommate and I were talking one day and she asked if I had ever played Rockband. I had not and her jaw dropped. Immediately she got it out and we hooked it up to our TV. No joke, we played for a good three hours. It was awesome and from that moment on I was addicted. Not hardcore like some people get but enough that I have my roommate and friends over and we play for hours on end. The sweet thing about it is that you never get tired. If you are tired of playing the guitar, you can play the drums, or even sing. What could be better than having a whole band rock out to classic hits like Sabotage or Say it Ain’t So. To make things even cooler is that you get to play with your friends or family. The laughter and fun that comes form playing Rockband is the best. So I guess it’s better to be semi-addicted to Rockband than things like pot or other drugs. Rockband is the way to go if you just want to have a good time with your friends.
